Who we are
DG Chocolatier is a handmade chocolate workshop in Prilep, North Macedonia. DG Chocolatier is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

What we collect
Only what you give us when you ask about or place an order, through the enquiry form on this website, WhatsApp, Instagram messages or a phone call:
- your name
- phone number and, if you give it, e-mail address
- delivery address, when we deliver
- the occasion, the date you need the order and your message
Form enquiries are e-mailed to our own mailbox and kept in a file on our web hosting. If you add an e-mail address, the form sends you a short confirmation.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare and deliver your order, and contact you about it. We share your name, phone and address only with the courier who delivers your order, when it is delivered. We do not use your details for newsletters, and we never sell your personal data.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no analytics, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel).

langremembers whether you chose English or Macedonian. It is set only when you use the EN/MKD switch and lasts one year. - Your browser keeps a note for the current visit only (
dg-intro) so the opening animation does not repeat.
Like every website, our hosting provider's servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. The Instagram photos on the site are stored on our own server, so viewing them sends nothing to Instagram. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.
Instagram, Facebook and Meta
We publish our photos and videos on Instagram and promote some of them as ads through Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use our own app, "DG Api", only to publish and manage posts on our own Instagram account and to read its statistics. It does not collect data about you.
When you see or interact with our posts or ads, Meta processes that under its own privacy policy. We do not give Meta your order details.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept for up to 2 years, for your order history and our accounting, or longer only where the law requires it (for example, invoices). Enquiries that do not become an order are deleted within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
How to delete your data
To delete your data, e-mail us at privacy@dgchocolatier.mk with the subject "Delete my data" and the name and phone number you ordered with. You can also ask on WhatsApp or by phone at +389 71 234 344.
We delete your details from our mailbox, enquiry file and messages within 30 days and confirm when it is done. The only exception is information the law requires us to keep, such as an invoice.
This also applies to any data connected to our Instagram and Facebook activity.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by contacting us as above. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of North Macedonia (azlp.mk).
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. Last updated: 25 October 2026.
